Introduction
Crisis Committee is a specialized committee which deals with imminent crises in the future. Issues discussed can range from terrorist attacks to natural disasters.
TCMUN is honored to present all delegates with this committee which is set in the future and aims to arouse brainstorms between delegates. This is in contrast to the conventional committee, where delegates debate unchanging topics and come up with solutions after much thought. This committee is not just about the future of foreign policies, but also tests the spontaneity of the delegates.
The delegates will only receive the topics after the conference have officially started. This means it is impossible for them to come up with a pre-written resolution, which is an extremely common phenomenon in MUN. They will have to account for changes in their foreign policy, if any and avert the crisis which will have the potential to dissolve the UN.
